Planning planning planning planning planning. I think that is the only thing I've learnt during exchange. But I won't say that I did a great job planning. Perhaps I have failed to look at the bigger picture. Seriously, looking at one task at a time, i think i did a pretty good job planning albeit the mad rush for time while country-hopping (2 days in each city on average). I managed to secure cheap flights to 4 countries in my pamsen trip I. YAYY. Bigger picture: Airport transfers (since we'll be flying all the time for trip I, it amounted to a hefty sum), accomodation (hostels my ass! rarr accom in europe is not cheap at all), entrance fees to attractions (more worried about this for pamsen trip II though) and food (shd i mention washroom visits? lol). RARRRR. I had such a hard time booking hostels. On one hand, I tell myself to source for the cheapest alternative but also taking into account the standards I have for a decent night's stay. The task is a torture. I'll just not shower if the shower facilities are gross, mouldy and eeky. And, god I pray I won't get beds with bedbugs ): i don't like the figure that I have aleady spent on my future trips cause that only means less shopping and CUP NOODLES. alright, gotta remind jen to bring lots of those.
money money money, why can't they grow on trees?
on a sidenote, pam is enjoying her activity-less day :D i love ANTM. i love caridee. can i name my daughter caridee? i love dramas. i love lund :D can i not travel? (and be refunded all the sunk costs incurred? lolllllllllllllllllllllllllll)
and, seriously. a word of wisdom to pam: you travel way too much! i want to chill chill chill during trips. absorb the most of europe without having to do a crazy mad dash everywhere. boooo. big picture! tsk always look at the big picture. i'm a dumbass.
