Mini-Review by Danielle Millennium:
First of all, I feel somewhat kinda silly doing this, but I really just have to spread the word because I think this is very deserving to be heard by as many people as possible who might enjoy it...
ok... so honestly, I LOVE this album. It has nothing to do with the way I feel about Chris personally, that I am promoting it. It's because he managed to somehow write an industrial album that BLEW ME AWAY and sincerely has impressed me as a musician. (and, no. i refuse to use the term "terror ebm" blah blah blah etc that everyone else seems to be using to describe it, because that phrase justs sounds fucking retarded and marks an era of shit bands that have no idea what theyre doing, screaming lyrics that are meaningless, or about wars that they've never been in or experienced while they sit around eating potato chips.) It's way more intricate & well-written than Drawn & Quartered, in my opinion - I really didn't care too much for that one, to be honest, aside from a select few amount of songs. I am very skeptical and hate most industrial music, unless it incorporates the use of guitars, is Wumpscut, or came out in the 90s. This is fantastic, and even from an unbiased perspective as a fellow musician, I am truly proud of Chris for creating an album that is seamless, dark yet catchy, well-written, thought-provoking, and from the soul.
Dressed in Filth, Preacher, & Bound in Hate- (in which I think Psyclon Nine should be honored to be featured in a song on this album, lol) are my absolute favorite tracks on this. Give it a listen, I guarantee you won't be able to get it out of your head ;)
Good job, Chris.. love you <3
