Valentines Day for Geeks
Most people go out to fancy restaurants for Valentines Day. Not us. We went to the Science Center, because we are science geeks. There wasn't enough time to see everything, so we viewed the planetarium show and caught a cool IMAX movie on Antarctica.
Facts about Antartica that I learned:
* Antarctica has no political system or society. It's a no mans land devoted to ecological research.
* 90% of the Earth's fresh water is frozen in Antarctica.
* Mars research is conducted on Antarctica's mountaintops, because of the similar dry climate.
That's enough. Sorry to bore you. I want to catch more IMAX movies in the future, and go back to the Science Center gift shop. That shop has so many cool science toys and activities. If anybody would like to join me for an IMAX movie(the cost is only $8)let me know. I'm always up for going to the Science Center.
