" ``I am deeply concerned about Iraq,'' Bush told a White House news conference. ``This is a nation run by a man who is willing to kill his own people by using chemical weapons, a man who won't let inspectors into the country, a man who's obviously got something to hide. "

- We just pay our inspectors off, so we are more tacit.

" ``And he is a problem and we're going to deal with him,'' Bush said. ``But the first stage is to consult with our allies and friends and that is exactly what we're doing. "

-What's the problem? We didn't have a problem with Cambodia when we were supporting Pol Pot's execution of innocent Cambodians. When the CIA assassinated the democratically elected Allende government, we didn't object. What's wrong with Saddam killing people for US? Oh wait, I forgot, he doesn't like us either - why? because we said he could take oil fields in the middle east from Iran, then attacked him for trying?

``One thing I will not allow is a nation such as Iraq to threaten our very future by developing weapons of mass destruction,'' Bush said.

- We wouldn't want Saddam to make a few of the weapons that we spend billions of dollars on each year and stockpile for "defense" purposes would we?

Well, this was a nice article, posted on Reuters. I only wonder what the slant in some anarchist communites would be on it.
