I wish the world weren't full of heartbreak for my friends. I wish I could take my own advice. I wish I wasn't constantly slipping away into daydreams because sometimes it's more palatable. I wish I had a phone that could get picture messages. I wish Halloween lasted forever, and that there was more magic about it like there used to be. I wish my little cat were still alive. I wish I got to see my dog and davy more. I wish my parents weren't moving to Florida even though it has no real bearing on me other than where the rest of my stuff is being stored and the logistics as to how I'm going to see the girls. I wish I weren't caught up in a whirlwind. I wish that I would write myself better parts. I wish that I wrote more than a few scribbled sentences here and there. I wish I could explain things better. I wish I could lose twenty pounds.
and I wish I weren't so tired.
