Holiday spirit anyone?
* I've been having a hard time getting in a christmassy mood and it sucks because I love this time of year. Being with my family, spoiling my nieces and nephews, cooking for whole afternoons to feed the whole battalion of relatives and just the general cheerfulness I usually feel. I'm just hoping I'm late to the party because I've been sick for the last two weeks and work's been killing me and not completely absent this year.
* BUT I got snowflake cookies for my user info page and it was so unexpected and lovely. So thank you so much, because it really meant a lot. I didn't get to send anyone one, because they're gone now, BUT I meant to send it to everyone on my flist for making my life a much happier place all year. Hugs to everyone and a big thank you for being so awesome.
* In a completely unrelated note, I've become obsessed with Jakob on SYTYCD. This is the first season I'm totally emotionally invested in a contestant (which sucks because I can't vote). But his dancing is just breathtaking. Not only because of the control he has and the technical aspects, but he's so graceful and conveys so much emotion with his movement. I really really really want him to win.
