More of the usual...

Well, The Devil Wears Prada is a good movie. So is Firewall with Bruce Willis. That was the movie I watched tonight with my parents and my mom's friend Sue (my mom helped her house-hunt today).

Anyways, my mom lost track of time and I had to run my sister to the train station. I had 15 minutes left of my 2 hours that I had alloted for tanning outside, and then I was going to get some lunch. Instead, I end up going with her to find our way down to the train station, which was a major hassle. I threw on some clothes and sunglasses, being that I had been in my swimsuit and had no makeup on. Then, I was lucky in that I found I-5 and a street I recognized on the way back...couldn't get to the waterfront and go that way because I was directionally challenged from where I was. Anyways, she's going down there to visit my mom and dad's friends' son who is one year younger than her. I have no clue if she has a thing for him or what. She took the train because my parents wouldn't let her drive down there. At least she'll be gone till the 5th. Last night when I came home there were no outside lights on, and I tripped over her suitcase in the upstairs narrow hallway...she's a brat.

At least I got some sun time today, and yesterday I took a half hour tan in the old tanning bed we have in our bonus room. I'm getting some good color, but it's definitely time to switch to SPF 8 because my legs need to catch up to the rest of me. These two days off have been nice for that. Although I do have a lot of night shifts this next week so maybe I'll be able to fit some more sun time in there somewhere.

Speaking of work, it looked pretty dead when I passed by there at 7:30 so I hope that my shift tomorrow night won't be super busy. My last one was...it was just insane...especially since the night before had been dead.

It looks as though the 4th of July will be spent at a rodeo an hour away, and then we will watch fireworks at Oaks Amusement Park. Should be fun, and I have that day off from work too. I really hope I get my paycheck next week.

Well, that's about it for now.

More later,
Heather
