Wikipedia says Pretty Little Liars is a Teen Version of Desperate Housewifes.
Might be the truth, but I am not a teenager anymore and think it's so much better than desperate Housewifes that its really not funny anymore.
Of course many of the 'plot-twists' are expected and every possible clichee in the book is used, but it works in a really sweetv way.
Also the story is very interesting.
I couldn't tkll who is A yet (and believe m, I really want to know).
Also the fashion is awesome.
Much better than Sex and the City or all those series.
And there are series you never think you could ever get to like.
Like Secret Diary of a CallGirl. Really with Pretty Lilltle Liars I liked everything from the beginning,
this was onl watched for the laughs.
It is funny ... but I really enjoy laughing!
Her job, her life, everything is shown as something really normal, without the drama I kind of expected.
(Maybe I read too much fanfiction. Every fanfic about whores seems to be emo ... so I expected that.)
Matt Smiths appearance was a bonus. And I really did not expect that.
... I guess I need to watch more than just the first season. *laughs*
