You live in England, man. You have so many amazing places you can go so easilly that my waterbound colonial arse is aching with jealousy. You have all of the UK and Europe right there. Go! Explore! And send me a postcard! :P
And, hey, if you wanted to travel further abroad, you've always got a bed here in Sydney. :)
1. England does have a lot to see, I guess. I fancy a road trip, but I'll see what things there are to do. I guess I had overlooked how there's a lot within reach in my little country. Thanks for making me thing :)
2. Postcard sending is a serious thing if you want it :)
3. OMG. Are you serious? I get nervous about meeting LJ peeps in RL but if that's serious, OMG &hearts .
1. England has *so much* to see - I'd love to go there (well, I'd love to go anywhere, but England's fairly high on the list). And then, onwards to everywhere else!
2. Ha, seriously? That'd be wonderful!
3. I'm totally serious! I'd love to have you. :) I mean, my flat is insanely small so I can offer little by way of privacy, but! I live in a very trendy suburb right near the city, and can act as tourguide of both the city itself, and all the Australin food that MUST be tried to adequately understand our culture. Also, DVDs and internets!
I do appreciate the country I live in. Not been to see everything yet, but I like to think I'm pretty travelled. At least more so than my housemates, who've never even really been out of London *sigh*
Well, yeah, let me know. It could be some sort of project or something. I'm off on holiday in June, give me your address and I'll send you one ;)
OMG that made my week XD OMG OMG OMG :D I can't be doing it this year, I'm afraid, but if the offer's still going in July/August next year... OMG you have no idea how much I'd love to do that.
Haha, that's the best reaction ever! XD How could I say no to that? I'm sure the offer'll still be good next year, and July is a free month over here too, so I'm sure something could be arranged. :)
I'm so excited by this idea!! And when I have a meeting on May 15th about what I'm gonna do after I finish university, so that really could be a plan :) I just really love it. *eeep*
I'm excited about it too! It'd be so much fun! Is there anything in particular you'd like to do here? It'd be winter, mind, so swimming at Bondi's probably out, but just about everything else is still doable.
Oh man! :D I don't know... anything! Everything XD When you say winter though... I mean, have you seen British winters? *shivers just thinking about them*
Heh, that did occur to me. Really, unless it's raining the humidity here makes it so that the cold never lasts long if you're moving around, so coming from English winters you'll probably be cruising. XP
Hmm, 'everything', eh? *thinks* That would be the touristy stuff - Darling Harbour, China Town, QVB, the Zoo, Circular Quay (including Opera House, gardens, etc), oh, and the Rocks. Everyone loves the Rocks (don't worry - it's a place, both historical and trendy and just plain awesome, not actual rocks). Oh, and things like the nearby markets... If you were going to be here a while, I'd say a trip to the Blue Mountains would be good too. They're gorgeous and there's plenty to see and do, plus it's a good palce for a bit of Aboriginal cultural stuff, and the walks are amazing. And... hmm, country/outbackish things could be arranged very easily, too...
I just realised I never actually replied to this comment, or the other one further down. What an ass!
Anyway, I enjoyed everything you said the first time you said it, and I've enjoyed it even more the second time I read it, and I hope you're still up for this because I'm really looking forward to this :D
Aw, I like your address and username! Everyone should always believe in fairies. *nods*
Although, I must admit that in my head I've sort of come to refer to you as Glitz25, which is probably a bit hipper, but that's more due to the Aussie tendancy to nickname everything we come into contact with.

Well, I set up the email in 2000, hence that being in there, when I was 12. It figures.
What's your username from/mean?
