Juat over two months ago we got two new cats from the Cats Protection League. A little girl called Twinkle (she's about 18mths old) and a HUGE white boy cat called George - he's 10 years old. They are both house cats. Twinkle has settled in a treat, she's fun, loves being fussed and is very playful. Her and George seem to get along just fine, playing 'smack and chase' or hide and seek. George is fine with my husband, loves to be petted and groomed, he also fine with my daughter. But he does not like me touching him, he dips and weaves out of the way, or backs off. It's not perfume, I have not hit/shocked or trodden on him. He is also peeing in inappropriate places, in the dirty laundry basket, in a corner in the kitchen and today on a piece of paper in the dining room. I know this is apparently a sign of a not very happy cat... what do we do? how can we stop him pissing every where, how can we make him feel happier? I'm lost!
