Ouija Boards and other stuff your parents lied about
Thank god its only a week tilll Spring Break. I'm feeling all stressed out, like I have a ton of shit to do this weekend, even though I really dont. I have a midterm on Thursday I havent started studying for yet, thats probably making me stress. But the big thing is finding a new roommmate. I gotta make signs today to stick up when i go to campus tomorrow.
I never really realized how friggin unsafe college is... I mean, putting up signs asking a stranger to live with you? Who had that moronic idea? Yanno, if they made all the apartments studios, they could fit a lot more of them into the complex. Not that I can afford a studio, but maybe if they had more studios, they could charge less.
I checked my mail yesterday.... my mom bought me the Rent! dvd for Valentine's Day, only it didnt come out till after the 14th and I check my mail like once every two weeks so i just got it. Love that movie, watched it twice last night.
I also recieved this thing... I've been nominated for membership to Gamma Theta Upsilon, which is the International Geographic Honor Society. Which is pretty nifty. I mean, I made the Dean's List last semester but that doesnt seem as cool, I've done that twice before. There's a one-time $25 membership fee but obviously I'll join, if only for something else to stick on resumes and grad school apps. Plus the brochure said that some employers give Gamme Theta Upsilon members preference. If only finding a roommate was as easy as joining the honor society.
