had a moment of total disconnect earlier.

you know how when you go to someone's twitter profile it will show who else is following them that you already know? so, Alyson Hannigan just tweeted, "Waiting for @AnthonySHead to come over. Why are all my English friends so SLOW?" I was unaware (or had forgotten, more likely) that ASH has a twitter, so I went to his profile and thought, huh, @BradleyJames is following him too- oh, that's right, he's a Buffy fan- OH, THAT'S RIGHT, THEY'RE ALSO COSTARS. possibly my brain doesn't easily make the leap from Giles to Uther, but possibly this is mostly symptomatic of not having much to do with Merlin these days.

so, regardless of whether delicious ends up sticking around or not, it looks like I'm going to have to find a different service to house my recs/bookmarks, since today, for the second time, I have noticed one of my links has mysteriously disappeared. this is very not okay, since delicious is meant to cater to my need to keep my interneting meticulously organised and archived, and when it doesn't do that I feel betrayed and a bit panicky. because I can't help but wonder what other links have also disappeared that I've just failed to notice. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE. D: the thing is, I didn't save any of the posts where people were breaking down the alternatives when Yahoo was getting ready to shut delicious down (don't even tell me they weren't, 'cause they so totally were). so I am kind of flailing about rn. does anybody have any recommendations or just links to any of those posts?

(like, the first time it happened? I honestly wondered if I only thought I'd saved the link. I would have sworn I had, but even so. but the one that's just now disappeared had a tag I've only used once, on that particular story, which I've been seeing in my sidebar for months, which is how I noticed it had disappeared in the first place, because the tag is gone too. I just can't even, guys.)
