Two Onmyouji ficlets

I wrote these recently for Porn Battle XII but was too idlebusy to x-post them at the time, so here they are now. As usual for my Heian-inspired fics they're more suggestive than porny; it all depends on your mood.

I adore these! Especially the first one - the sensuality and dreaminess of the nightly encounter, but even more Hiromasa's uncertainty over what to do the morning after, and his decision to leave because it is love. Oh, Hiromasa! Ever the earnest, well-meaning free spirit who's still all caught up in the courtly ways of doing things.

Ands then he adds that un-courtly and honest line, and Seimei gets him so perfectly. Awww, boys.

The second one is lovely, too, but I think should be read in winter! :-) The summer heat is so much present in it...

Thank you ^^ though since we haven't exactly had a summer, I was really dredging my memories for what 'sunlight' and 'heat' feels like... and I really wish I was joking about that!

Did you take any photos of Lake Biwa? Would love to see if you did... currently working on another fic that takes place partly on the shores of Biwa.

The rain sounds beautiful. Much nicer than our summer rain, which has been like October rain since mid-July.

Any pictures would do, tbh... I imagine the Heian nobles spent most of their time on the part of the lake closest to the capital, but anything that gives an idea of the scenery would be lovely. Thank you, looking forward to seeing them!
