I read He's Just Not That Into You, and I feel so liberated!!
I know Bob is attracted to me, and I know he likes me as a person (at least, that's what he told me), but he isn't giving me much to work with.
I'm not asking for anything but friendship - but he can't even manage a phone call.
There are guys out there who go to great lengths to win someone over, or just to make their significant other happy, but this person isn't even working to develop a friendship.
While I think he's a great person, I refuse to waste my time waiting to hear from someone who doesn't feel that way about me. I refuse to "waste the pretty." :)
If he ever does call (which he probably will, once he realizes he hasn't heard from me in a while), I'm going to tell him he had his chance.
While some people may think, hey, he's trying, give him another shot - it's just not enough. Actions speak louder than words, and his actions have all screamed, "He's just not that into you!!!"
Game over. Thanks for playing.
I will say, though, God doesn't close one door without opening another. And I'll leave it at that, for now....
