Pain in Honey Blonde: Chapter 1

This is how I invisioned them for this particular fic, by the way!

Ruki POV:

As Aoi started to strum out the first few notes of Filth in the Beauty, the last song we were to play that night, I laughed into the mic, driving the fans crazy, then Uruha sauntered over to me and my heart skipped a beat. He held up his guitar, and I smiled and licked it. Then we continued to play, the entire time, I watched the ever gorgeous Uruha play his guitar with such skill, it made me ache. We finished the live, and walked off stage in our usual manner, but something about me felt off. I was overcome with sadness, and headed to the dressing room, locked myself in the bathroom, and broke down. I wanted him to myself so damn bad, yet he and Aoi were always flirting and giving fan-service and spending time together. It killed me.

I composed myself, and walked back into the dressing room, where everyone was laughing and gathering their things to go home. Uruha was sitting on the couch with Aoi, talking and laughing, it made me want to cry, his smile. His lips. I tore my gaze from him, and grabbed my own things, ready to walk out the door.

"Ruki!" Reita called after me.

"Yeah?" I turned around, trying to look at just him, and not Uruha behind him.

"We're going out for a dink. Tag along?" He asked. I plastered a fake smile and replied, "Sure! Get up off your asses and let's go." I said and laughed, trying to make it sound genuine.

"Hell yeah! Come on fuckers!" Aoi shouted and grabbed his bag, grabbing Uruha's arm and pulling him along.

We all piled into Kai's car, who was driving, due to the fact he never drinks, he's always the designated driver. We stopped at some random bar, stepped out into the cold, and rushed into the bar to escape the frigid cold. We sat around a table and ordered drinks and drank quite a bit. I sat next to Uruha. I could smell the scent of his sweat, mixed with cigarette smoke, and cologne. I loved this smell. Reita ordered us all shots, and proposed a drinking game.

"The person tells two stories, and we have to figure out which one is a lie. The loser drinks, alright?" I nodded and smiled.

"You go first then, since you came up with it." He gave me a middle finger quickly, and told his first story.

"When I was a kid, I fell from the roof of my house and didn't break a bone!" He said, smiling victoriously.

"That's the lie, you dick-face." Kai said, and Reita flicked him off, and drank his shot, shivering as the whiskey entered his system, ordering another shot for himself.

"Your turn Uruha." Reita said and set his empty glass upside down on the table. Uruha looked down at his hands, then back up with a soft smile on his face.

"I fell in love with someone you all know, about ten years ago." He said. Kai's eyes widened and he spoke.

"Who?"

"None of your business Mother." Uruha snapped back and stuck out his tongue.

"Get on with the second one!" Aoi shouted.

Uruha shooed at him with his hand, and went on to tell the other story.

"I was given a gold watch on my birthday by the person I love." He said, looking down at his hands again.

"What?" I said sternly. I had given him a gold watch for his birthday two years ago. I even had it engraved with his initials. But Aoi had also given him one this past year. It was a gold watch with two birds on it holding a banner that said 'Forever Rock' on it. Uruha looked at me with wide, but kind eyes, as he always did.

"Y..yeah. A gold watch from the person I love." I nodded and pretended to be on my phone, and posted random things on twitter, trying to keep myself busy and keep my mind off of the man sitting next to me.

"I think, the first one is the lie." Reita said, handing Uruha his shot glass of whiskey with a cocky smile on his face. Uruha looked at it for a second, then took it, speaking softly, his voice filled with regret.

"Yep. The first one is a lie." And he drank his shot, slamming the glass upside down in the same fashion Reita had.

"Ruki fucker, your turn." Aoi said with a smirk.

"Alright, alright." I said, shoving my phone and my hands into my jacket pockets. I looked up in thought, smiled, then spoke.

"My parents used to get mad at me because I lost a bike when we went on tour once." I said, and they all laughed, knowing that story to be true, Reita having seen them mad himself.

I hesitated, before speaking again, "I once met the love of my life ten years ago." I let out a nervous chuckle.

"The person was the most amazing person I'd ever met. And now, I don't think they even see how I feel about them." I looked down and let a tear roll down my cheek, trying to hide it from them. Uruha spoke up,

"The second's the lie." He said seriously, handing me a shot. I faked a smile again and looked up.

"Good job Uruha!" I shouted and downed my shot of burning alcohol, letting it sear my insides, and I shivered. I looked at Aoi, picking up another shot and drinking it.

"Your turn." He nodded and thought for a moment as I downed three more shots.

"I love food." He said laughing.

"And I hate Uruha." Everyone but me spoke at once.

"Two is a lie." And Aoi downed his shot. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I got up and left the bar.

The last thing I heard was Uruha saying, "I'll take him home." and I blacked out.
