Got my invitation to Ariel's wedding today. For the first time, I'm realizing that, although we're not old yet, we are truly becoming adults. Here's this girl I've known since we were six, playing barbies in my basement or dressing up in her attic, and she's getting married. In January.
It's weird to realize how quickly things happen when you get older. Or how they seem to happen faster, anyway.
I knew it was happening [getting older and the wedding both]. It just didn't seem real until now.
