joe and I hung out last night, caused some trouble at the borders, then the silver diner, and making a ruckus down in old town occoquan while the good kids were all asleep. had quite a lot of fun.
start serving tomorrow. rather pissed because I don't get to serve friday or saturday evenings [big money times] but am working instead friday daytime [not so bad] and hosting saturday night.
hosting. on saturday. I mean, really!
got a letter today from leslie. she says the cookies were delightful, loved the bracelet, and is still enjoying the CD, so I've done good.
apparently, according to her, eddie misses me. not that he's said so much per se, of course, but they had a drunken heart-to-heart one night and he admitted it. good.
congrats to ariel. I better be invited to the wedding, m'dear. if not, the first-grader in me that resolved to never marry [save perhaps on a lovely hot caribbean beach whilst drunk to shit on rum] but to attend your wedding instead will be crushed beyond repair.
