I really should be in bed, but alas LJ is calling and I figure I should post something.
Saw the Trio on Friday night...they were fabulous. They played at the Warfield (which I gotta say, I don't think I dig too much) and it was the most random crowd. Hardcore fans + girlfriends of hardcore fans + girls with Louis Vuitton bags (no joke...) who heard their new song on the radio and decided to go. Mr. Skiba had a silly grin on his face for over 1/2 the show which was pretty cute and they actually had themselves together. The BEST part - THEY PLAYED YOU'VE GOT SO FAR TO GO!!! Fuck yea, I haven't heard that live since the first time I saw them many years ago. I tried to call Jess so she could hear it, but since the sound was so shitty I don't think she heard it. Sigh.
Other than that things are pretty laid back. Work's going well although I'm still not used to this work thing. I think that it's finally hitting me that I'm going to be working 40 hour weeks for the next year or so. But I'm learning stuff which is always good. Now I just need to get cracking for the LSAT.
Also, watched Shaun of the Dead last night. Really random, yet entertaining. Check it out.
