TAHOE Early B-day celebration !!!
So I went to Tahoe with the roommate, the boyfriend(AKA Nick), Suzanne, Stephanie, and the other boyfriend (AKA L.J.) this weekend. Can I just say that taking road trip is sooo much more fun with no boys ? Especially when those guys are someone's BF. I mean road trips are for blasting the music, singing aloud too long with the windows down, seat dancing, eating junk food, flirting with the boys at the gas stations and or rest stops you make pit stops at, and psycho analyzing EVERYTHING that is going on in your life, RIGHT ? When you're with someone's boyfriend, no truly deep rooted analysis can take place, as people hold back, also there's that unspoken rule of the girlfriend/boyfriend getting shot gun the whole trip, the whole boys thinking they know a better route than you do, not wanting to make enouugh pit stops for the women, the list goes on.
Despite the not so fun getting there part, this the weekend was: snow ball fighting, disc sledding, hot tubbing, drunken 90's edition trivial pursuit... (which I have won EVERYTIME I've played it since I got it for x mas last year, thank you =)hot chocolate, hiking in the snow, eating lasagna and baked potatoes for dinner (I know, right??) Stephanie opening the door to the bedroom in her long johns proclaiming with a raised eyebrow and a knowing smirk, "hey baby". (and the 15 minutes of jokes and laughter that came after that) There was even some dirty dancing (movie watching that is) HELL I turned 2 dollars into 18.39 at anickel slot machine in Reno on Saturday night. GOOD TIMES. There was no skiing as the snow is still really only at the higher elevations, but there was enough to make a good snow man and snowballs, so no complaints. I have to say seeing 6 kids all raised where it doesn't snow try to make a snowman would probably be very amusing to those who live with snow every winter.
ohhh... and my fabulous friends bought me a $250.00 love cat paris wallet as an early B-day gift which
I LOOVVVEE. GOOD TIMES. I really do love my friends, not just cause they went in on an expensive designer gift, but because they are always there for me. ;)
