Maybe it's because I'm not all that much of a comic geek, or maybe I've been living under a rock, but I only just found out Niel Gaiman is writing a couple upcoming issues of Batman. And not just any old issues.

The first few pages, posted early this morning here look spifftastic. Now I'm going to have to actually find a comic book store around here.
