Goodbye, Edward Jones
Well, it has been a fun ride, but it is time to say goodbye! Edward Jones has provided me with one hell of a learning experience (and paycheck) ever since the beginning of January. Seven months have passed, and it is time to give it up and head back to school to finish up the degree. I will only be with Edward Jones until Friday. Tomorrow my team is taking me out to a farewell lunch at Fuddrucker's, which is always good. I have only been there once, but they have some darn good burgers. Friday, my ex-intern buddies (they have since been hired) are taking me out to Train Wreck for lunch. Unfortunately, I have completed all of my work so I don't really have anything to be doing the next couple days.
Tomorrow, the ex-intern buddies are throwing me a party after work. I'm really looking forward to it, but I will be sad when I won't get to hang out with them anymore. Hopefully we still keep in touch and hang out once in awhile.
I'm coming into work early on Friday, though, to watch my last changes go in. I will probably leave around 2 pm, which will be nice. Then I'm going straight to Normal so that I can hang out with Kyle and Sarah all weekend long! I can't wait, it's always so much fun hanging out with them. I think Lisa is still planning on going as well, so that will be interesting I guess.
Monday, I start back at school. I have three classes from 12-4 with no breaks. Although, class never lasts the full period on the first day, so I'm sure I'll have a lot of free time. Tuesday, I head back to Wal-Mart. I'm going to go back to the Service Desk position. It should be all right for awhile, but I'd like to do something more interesting sometime soon.
