I spoke a lot about Hamlet in my uni application and no doubt it'll come up in interview, so I was re-reading the play and then remembering seeing the lovely David angsting on stage!

Actually, I was talking to friend via Skype and mentioned (and by "mentioned" I mean: ranted) that I now watch Doctor Who. She said something among the lines of "Isn't that that weird ancient british alien show with the crappy production values? wtf, Jools?", and I simply sent her that image and said. "Main character. On screen 80% of the time. Wears pinstripes, chucks and horn-rimmed glasses. Questions?".
That settled it. I now plan on stealthily introducing her to all the things that make DW such an a brilliant show.
