Kelly worked on the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I still made all of the regular food for Thanksgiving. We put up some Christmas lights on the house.
The week after Thanksgiving, I had to go to Houston for two weeks. I've been to Houston a lot lately. It's been averaging about one week per month for five months. I think April will be the first month I don't have to go to Houston since October.
My parents came to visit us on their way to and from visiting my Grandma for Christmas. They were here for a few days before and a few days afterwards. They brought my Grandma's dining room set for us. It fits perfectly in our dining room and our house looks better now that it has more "grown up" furniture.
I was in Houston the second week of January. I was supposed to be there the third week as well but my flight got cancelled by freezing fog.
At my job, I have had to take over a coworker's duties, so I had to go to Houston again in February to have a hand-off.
The weekend before (the first weekend of February), Kelly and I went skiing at Copper Mountain in Colorado. It was great skiing because the sun wasn't out and there was 4 inches of fresh powder and another 4 inches fell while we were skiing.
At the beginning of March, I had to go to Houston for one day (crazy, I know).
In March, we started a lot of projects. We had dirt brought in, we scheduled gutters to be installed, bought furniture and a new entertainment system, and a new lawnmower.
