Without a doubt, I would choose the old Bullroarer himself, Bandobras Took. Until my own love Pippin came along, Bandobras was the closest thing to a warrior in all of hobbit history. When the Shire was invaded by Orcs, he led a charge against them in the Battle of the Greenfields and he killed their leader, the goblin Golfinbul! Knocked his head clean off, he did, with a swing of a club! Knocked it right into a wee rabbit hole, in fact! Years later we hobbits made a game of it that we call golf. Trust a hobbit to make light of something so dire as an Orc invasion! Bandobras lived in interesting times, indeed. And now, with things as they are in the world, I surely could use his sage advice. I wonder what he would make of Smaug,
