Rivendell
Writing in haste.
Have arrived at the outskirts of Rivendell, but I don't know if there are any elves here. There are so few elves left in Middle Earth anymore. There is no telling if the sons of Lord Elrond or any of the others are even here, now. How sad to think that this lovely place could be ever be bereft of those fair folk. Could it be the Last Homely Home has been abandoned at last?
*jumps down from cart and runs a few paces ahead of the others*
