My workout with Stephen yesterday has left me in some severe minor muscle discomfort. I know it's part of the deal but every once and awhile the muscle fatigue is seriously intense. When it hurts to get dressed, drive, etc you know you had a good workout. But at the same time its a PIA.
What caused this lovely muscle fatigue you may be wondering...
Workout - Mon 10am
Warm up - 15 min elliptical - res 9 - mets 10-11
Set 1 - 10x
5 pull ups
10 push ups (I managed the first 60 on my toes, then had to fall back to knees)
15 squats
(that equals 50 pull ups, 100 push ups, and 150 squats)
Set 2 - 3x
Lat pull downs - 10 reps
Push machine - 15 reps (same motion as push up with weights while sitting)
Leg Press - 20 reps
Yep, pretty much all the same stuff I did with my body weight now with resistance, after muscles were already burning and tired. So needless to say my biceps, pecs, lats, are extremely fatigued today. Hoping for improvement tomorrow as I'm working out again in the AM.
