Writing papers sucks, like seriously writing academic research based papers is getting really old and tiring. Luckily I'm almost done, and after these last two are finished the only one's left are my comps. Which I take to graduate instead of writing a thesis. All the writing I've been doing academically has one left little time or desire for blogging. Next week all should return to normal, for the most part.
I worked out this AM with Stephen, and then hung around talking about all sorts of things.

Diet
Lately I've been telling people I'm not eating carbs during the week (per Stephen, obviously not something I'd come up with on my own) this has confused people here so I'm guessing it needs a little explination here as well. Well I'm not suppose to eat refined carbs during the week, that's the best way to start. Refined carbs being bread, pasta, pasteries, cakes, etc. Those kinds of carbs, not the whole grains (oatmeal, plain granola, brown/whole grain rice) and obviously not the carbs found in fruits and veggies. I'm suppose to follow high protein, low carbish. this might work for more people, once I realized that there are still carbs I can eat during the week it wasn't as daunting. Basically got me out of the turkey sandwich kick I was stuck in, as I can't have bread during the week. It's lots of tuna and chicken salads with no bread. But it works, it's good, and I feel good. Haven't checked the scale lately (TOM) and don't know if I will for a week or so. I'm stressed with school and under eating some days and over eating others, which to some sounds like it evens out, but it doesn't. Food is fuel our bodies need fuel, just like a car if we never change the oil or add the right fluids we break down, we start making funny noises, and eventually need maintence. The less you take care of the car the more expensive the maintence, same thing with our bodies. :-)
