Okay once again I’ve let things pile up and there’s been stuff I’ve wanted to post but haven’t. Upcoming is my re-cap on seeing Prince Caspian, which was awesome. (Sad though about it being released at the same time as Indi4 and The Sex and the City cult… movie.) *EDIT* (And by this I mean, that the film, PC, didn't do anywhere as good as it should

But having said that, I don't want it to be awkward! Both of you should feel free to comment me here! I'd only ask that you seek each other out about your issues, rather that chat in these comments. (Not that you have been.)
You two are both very important people in my life and I don't want to not talk to one more than the other, or anything like that, if that's what you might be thinking.
Now enough of that and on to the reply.
You know, I actually used to watch Sex and the City when it was on, Mara....Here me out. I was probably about 16/ 17 and obsessed with sex so naturally this one appealled to me. I stayed with it mainly for Kim Catrell, I think she is awesome as Samantha...Or it could just be my thing I have for unapologetic sexual predators? *shrugs* I also like prudish Charlotte. (Kristen E. Davis.)
HATED Miranda and Sarah Jessica Parkers character though. (And that smug piece of shit, Chris Noth/ BIG) 300 pairs of shoes, even if I was a woman I doubt I'd still be able to understand it. That's almost one pair per day a year. And I don't even want to imagine how much she spent on them.
I HATE that this film did so crazily well. I liken it almost to Oprah's Book club.(Hence my cult comment^) It's been marketed as this awesome film that women (and even guys!!) will love...but I bet you a million dollars it'll turn out to be some predictable cliche crap, merely an excuse to squeeze cash out of 'idiot' women, who wouldn't know a good movie if it bit them on their arse.
What's the bet the wedding of teh century will hit a snag! Oh noes! And Big will be an arrogant wanker/ he'll cheat on Carrie! Or..no..that's what they'll make us think and then the surprise will be that he has redeemed himself! Yays!
Completely overhyped!(He says without actually seeing it.) I'll wait for DVD thanks,(strictly for the nostalgia...and Kim Katrell) and even then I wouldn't spend money on it.
Tomorrow EFN, if I have time, go the new poll. And you've told me about Buzzcocks more than once. *nods* And yes, I really want to see it BUT I think the best option would be youtube. Also, It's always sunny in Philadelphia sounds vaguely familiar, I'll look it up.

Not my issues at hand. I'll go into more detail next time we talk on MSN.
I was the same when (..75 mm of rain? Jesus fuck, eat my ass, weatherman.)I was a teenager. I would actually seek out the later movies on Showcase and Bravo, because they'd have some nudity - I even ended up watching Fritz the Cat (..weird. Wish I was stoned when I watched it, it might've made more sense) and Flesh Gordon (which I've seen more than once. It's practically a MST3K.) I knew of a bunch of free story sites I didn't have to have age verification (I've always been a literary girl.), so believe you me, I was on them all the time.
I did watch the show once or twice, but never really religiously. I've seen maybe two or three full episodes. There's just something about SJP that makes me want to feed her a carrot or punch her in the face. I don't know.
Honey, I'm a woman, and I have like.. three or four pairs of shoes (1 sandal, 1 really cute heeled boot, 1 work shoe, 1 sneaker. Four pairs. Though I'm getting new ones. Working in an orthotics clinic means that the shoes'll be really good quality. The ones I tried on yesterday were flantastic.) I don't understand people spending more than $100 on shoes, unless it's for medical reasons (Like orthotics - some of our shoes get up towards the $300 range). Especially some of those heels, which look really uncomfortable and really fuck up your feet. (I've read textbooks about feet, okay? It's for my job.)
To help defend women, I'd like to point out that movies marketed towards teenage/young men like.. Norbit, Epic/Date/Superhero/Disaster Movie (I'm adding the latter, because even though it's not out yet, it'll still have a $40-50 million opening weekend.) and Meet the Spartans do really well at the box office. The reviews I've read for SATC are basically "Like a long episode of the show."
There's a lot of Buzzcocks on Youtube, so you'd probably do okay finding episodes. And Philadelphia is fucking hilarious. I watched most of the second season last night.
Oh. Oh.
Guess who is going to see Kevin Smith in September? *giddy* I bought Jess' ticket. So when I called her yesterday morning, the convo went like this:
"WHAT HAS TWO THUMBS AND IS GOING TO SEE KEVIN SMITH IN SEPTEMBER?!"
"..you cunt."
"................okay. So I'll just take this second ticket I bought and take someone else."
"...I love you."
