**Cameron watches the new HP trailer**
So Hagrid exclaims, ‘A storm is coming Harry, just like last time,’ which I hope is in reference to before Harry's time, as opposed to last year. I’m not crazy about that line but I’m distracted by Harry and some other person standing around a bluish area. (Dudley?) I suspect it’s just before Dudley and he are attacked by a Dementor….Yes that would make sense.
OMFG! The thestrals! They look awesome.
“The M.O.M. wishes to make an announcement: Delores Umbridge as High Inquisitor will address the following standards at Hogwarts school.”
I hate her already. She looks completely up herself. And LMAO!
Walking down the hallway and separating students who are making out, with the flick of her wand, is a brilliant touch.
Ron snickering and getting belted by Snape, again. Mwhahahaha! Never gets old. (Why does Harry laugh at that though? His Snape hatred is at all time high in this book. Perhaps it‘s an edit thing... but I‘m not noticing a lot of angry Harry angst in this trailer yet.)
SNAPE! *_*
Shut up Umbridge.
O.O
Fred and George’s departure of Hogwarts looks fucking a-w-e-s-o-m-e!! The papers flying around, the high five, the students all running outside to see them off. So good. So very very good.
And then my absolute favourite part of the trailer occurs. The anarchy cuts suddenly back to a pissed of Umbridge, who screams, ENOUGH!!! Me = *Trying to hold back the hysterical laughter.*
Umbitch: “You have been told that a certain Dark Wizard is at large again__”
Voldemort in a spiffy Black suit. Weird. Stupid. Although the imagery is v-cool, I do not like the idea of him in muggle clothes. Why the fuck would he be dressed like that? He wouldn’t, ever. Bring back the robes please. Yes it’s obviously a dream sequence or whatever, but it’s wrong.
"__this is a lie.”
Harry: “It’s not a lie, I saw him!”
Um. More intensity from both characters I hope. >.> I hope they don’t water down the anger from Harry. So far Umbridge strikes me as an ‘Aunt Marge type character’ She seems sort of comical, (both in appearence and the way she speaks her lines.) As if no one should take her seriously. I’m hoping the film truly depicts how vile and evil she is to the students.
Listen to Dumbledore! Don’t these people know anything?
“Delores Umbridge has replaced Albus Dumbledore as Head of Hogwarts.”
THUD!
BOO!!
And then we have Bellatrix walk out of Azkaban looking completely insane. (There’s a storm, so I expect it‘s at the same time as Harry and Dudley being attacked at the beginning.) I have fears they made my Bella too insane. (If that‘s possible.) Her hair is frizzed out and her teeth are disgusting. From what I’ve seen so far of Helena Bonham Carter, she seems to come off as deranged...rabid. This contradicts my views of her, as in the book she is described as having sleek black hair. Also that she was very pretty before her capture and imprisonment. However her voice is very dark, sleek and a little raspy. I approve.
“If Voldemort is building an army, I want to fight!”
Fuck yeah Harry! He punches a green something, cut to a shot of all the educational decrees falling to the ground. ^_^
SIRIUS! A less feral Sirius. A Sirius looking more loving, and lovable. I like the way he put his hand on Harry’s back. If this film has any chance on pulling the emotional strings, they better up the anty with Harry and Sirius. Seriously wtf Goblet of fire? One measly scene. Not impressed.
Love the shots of the Advance Guard escort. (Where is TOnks? I want to see Tonks!!??) Ron’s hair is great btw. Harry's..Not so much. It's better than it was in GOF but why no Jet black, messy hair? I've never understood it. THE D.A.!!! Luna Lovegood trying to do a patronus charm. So-much-to-absorb.
VO Guy: “Tyranny will rise.”
Umbitch: “I will have order!!!”
The Ministry of Magic….Oh sick. It looks much better than I imagined. When I saw the golden statue I just grinned like a madman.
Hermione: “It’s exiting isn’t it? Breaking the rules.”
Ron: “Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger.”
Okay, firstly, hee. And yes, Hermione becomes more rebellious throughout book 5. But right now, I'm felling the line somehow fails. I’m sorry, It just strikes me as too movie-ish. A sort of cheap jibe, I don’t think it was in the book. Fred/ George/ Ginny/ Neville in the background. WOOT!
O.O
Dumbledore and Fawkes spell!!!! The showdown between Voldy and Dumbledore is going to o-w-n.
Voldemort being a bitch. Delores and her squad…“Get them!” HAha! Then the images speed up, really fast, so it’s hard to process. However I did spot Lupin, pulling Harry back, Bella fighting, the Harry/ Cho kiss, fire etc.
The trailer ends with a creepy version of the HP theme…and I need a dry towel.
And we get this July 12 as opposed to 13. I need to speed up the re-reading of the books. >.> I think I've reached my quotas on exclamation points so I'll leave you with the sexiness of the movie poster.
Enjoy.
