Finished 'Shadows of Myth' by Rachael Lee.

Disliked:

-The multiple typos.

-The constantly being reminded that one of the characters does not know why she finds something familiar....I got it.

-Little is resolved/ things left unanswered/ up in the air.

Liked:

-Interesting Characters. The female race of the Illduin obviously apealled to me. Sara is not your typical pencil thin beauty you usually find in fantasy stories. Tess is engaging enough, and she carries the story well.
Also, Ratha and Giri. I loved their development because by the end you see their humor and devotion to each other. It is also confronting to see their transformation after the final battle.

-Language. 'Twere', 'twas', 'Mayhap' I kind of love that stuff.

- Two characters getting together. What is with me? I never used to be much of a romantic at all. >.>

Anyway, I'm onto Eragon and it's good so far. I like Saphira's personality coming through. She is so pretty. *_* Did I mention I've always wanted to ride a dragon?
[any person who reads this may be backing away slowly]
I like the inclusion of the character of the old storyteller, Brom. His tale of Alagaesia's history sets up the current state of things and raises questions from early on.

But I'm sorry Christopher Paolini, One page does not constitute a chapter.

That pissed me off.
I was thinking..."60 chapters my arse! More like 20!" -_-
Still, our boy Eragon seems to be well on his way to getting revenge. No spoilers. I've already predicted a few things and a part of me hopes I'm wrong, because I'd hate for this to end up in the formulae so many fantasy books tend to go.

Should probably wander back to my own. First chapter needs an extreme makeover Sometimes it just seems more like work than fun. I miss hearing Veronica Mars's voice and yes, it's only been off-air for a week. Yes, I'm aware I'm fastly entering 'dangerous obsession' territory but it's been something for me to look forward to...also summer.

I walked along the beach today from one end to the other. My feet may be killing right now, but it was so worth it. I want to shave my head. Not completely bald but today I got the sudden urge to do so. (random) And MSN is down? The fuck?

Shower.
Bed.
*colapses*

Wait....

When the last eagle flies
Over the last crumbling mountain
And the last lion roars
At the last dusty fountain
In the shadow of the forest
Though she may be old and worn
They will stare unbelieving
At the Last Unicorn

Tis all.
