Of study nights turned in to movie nights
Mikey's gone for the week, so I've been using his apartment as a place to study for my exams around the drunkards and moving outter's at school. It's gotten a little hectic there.
Tuesday was gorgeous, so I spent most of it in the park with a myriad of books. Just me, some books, music and the sunshine.
Wednesday morning was spent at Lincoln Center, the performing arts library. Had an appointment to watch reels and go through some of the reference material. Plus I needed to renew my books for my History of Film paper.
I was working on my paper here at Mikey's apartment, when I heard Derek in his room. Which was odd, since he specifically mentioned going back to Australia for the week.
So we took a study break. I was going to watch the Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers marathon on TCM, and Derek joined. We made popcorn and drank some wine, and watched every movie the two dancing greats made. It was fun, and much better than studying.
The marathon ended around 3am and Derek crashed, but I'm still up. Typing away at this paper...I've got 15 of 20 pages, so I'm close to being finished, but I'm about to crash myself. We'll see if I can finish all 20 pages before needing to sleep.
