Sauerkraut Dreams...
I dreamt last night that I was wrestling in sauerkraut with this theater-chick from high school. This is probably because I found out yesterday that the REAL Sauerkraut-Wrestling event in this small German town up north will be discontinued. Isn’t that kind of sad? Like an extinction.
So I was craving sauerkraut ALL day. I wanted it bad. I’m all about the sour (sauer?). Problem is, I always ate it as a child with sausage. And as you may know, I've recently gone veg. Does anyone know of any good vegetarian sauerkraut recipes? I did make Sunset Cabbage Strips tonight (below). Its a really yummy cabbage dish that Trobee has had me sample before. But I still want the kraut.
