{wedding} Too many humans
I have to remind myself that it is amazing that the life of me, my girl, and our parents, have so many people in our lives that we want to share in this momentous occasion.
Why do I have to remind myself? People are money, and right now there's pressure to make it 200+ people.
Catering: $11,000
Ave. Cost: $55/head, and a lot of it sounds terrible.
Researching alternatives: Local restaurants, http://www.seasontotaste.com, places that will allow us to provide some of the food
Booze: Who the hell knows, the catering doesn't include even wine. Plus, you need to pay extra for bartenders.
Venues: $3,000 - $7,000
Can't do it in a church/synagogue, so the place has to be big enough to accomodate everyone in two separate places.
And then there's the rehearsal dinner, hotels because at least 50 required people will be travelling, and a whole host of other things.
