First, if you don't know about the trouble Matt and Trey from South Park are in, read here for the full story.

As I was saying, shenanigans! This issue came to my attention a few months back when I glimpsed at the episode. I told everyone to watch this Wednesday so that those who haven't seen it could watch it, and then it gets yanked. At first I thought it was false advertising, but when I read this, my pissed-o-meter went into red.

Let me say that I've kept in mind that people have religious beliefs that others can't understand, so I don't go there, besides, they were only depicting what Scientologists ACTUALLY BELIEVE. What gets me upset is the waves of corruption and scandal linked to the church (Don't take my word for it, just look up L. Ron Hubbard, it won't take long to find dirt), and their reaction to this episode is hardly mature. Even Isaac Hayes quit the show due to the controversy. I'm not criticising them because I'm a self-righteous christian, believe me, I'm hardest on my own group.

If any of you think that the shows creators are being cruel to one demographic, then you haven't seen the show. Finding one group that hasn't been mocked is a challenge. And think about this one: Scientologist's backlash: 1, Violent Religious Extremist's Backlash: 0. I'm not comparing the two, but it does give you some perspective, eh?
