I don't usually have a problem with the way Show gives us info, even when others are calling it anvilicious, but this week was just way too much. I am glad I gave all the brother parts of the episode a second chance, because I think we got some really interesting stuff, and did actually get into Sam's head in a way I had missed because I was so busy dodging the anvils.
I think I am back to being frustrated in the good way, in the way that makes sense. When you love someone so much, and they don't seem to be wanting to understand you, you get sick of trying to explain. While I won't put up with it for long, and I think Sam has to be insane to think that his Dean would ever leave him (or kill him) after all they've been through and the countless ways Dean has refused to abandon Sam (of course, Dean isn't showing much faith in Sam's ability to be good, after all they've been through and Sam's constant refusal to go evil), I accept their utter lack of communication now, because I have some sense of where Sam's coming from, which I didn't feel like I got on my initial watch.
