I don't know if this has been posted, but I thought I'd stick it up in case it hadn't been. I get a weekly e-mail "magazine" from Creative Screenwriting called CS Weekly. Interesting interview, especially the last part, in light of the Supernatural race issues that get discussed. Thanks for linking it.

Well, you know that I don't agree with people who think the show has some racist agenda. Is the show perfect on such issues? No. But I actually think the show makes a better effort to show a wider spectrum of people than many, and that they do think about these things. It's nice to see Kripke comment on it.

I love Kripke!!! Especially how much he loves burying subversiveness in metaphor, and god, he does it so well. Thanks so much for sharing this!

I adore him, too, and I think the show has all sorts of stuff going on that people don't give it credit for. It's nice to hear the man himself talk about these things.

He is exceptionally awesome! I hope to have more to post of these things, but his interviews are usually so spoiler-laden, it's difficult to actually read them right when they come out. I'm glad you enjoyed!
