Progress in small changes

I've managed to ride a few times since we got back from the US and it feels like the work we did with Harry has made a difference in me that is helpful to Iris. It will take time to figure out how much of a change we make in the long term, but maybe this will finally start to get me into that kernel of fear that she carries so much of the time and

I feel like there is a more completeness, as though we've actually taken things to a new level. Probably to most people it wouldn't be noticeable but it is different on the inside. Now if only we had an indoor arena, or a drained outdoor arena, or anywhere else we could usefully work between now and April...

Indeed! I know the feeling of desiring consistent, workable weather/terrain, except the problem here is June-September when you roast shortly after sunrise.
