I'll put this behind a better cut tomorrow, but who says cosplayers are good for nothing?

In China, a firefighter dressed up as Spiderman to rescue a special needs child. He was terrified of the new school and climbed out on a window ledge. No one could get him to come down, and when they heard about his love of superheros, one firefighter grabbed a Spiderman costume and talked the boy back into the window. That's just awesome.

A quaker Parrot saved a child by screaming "moma, baby" to the babysitter. The kid was choking and the squawking and flapping alerted the sitter, who was in the kitchen making breakfast. She gave the kid the Heimlich, but wouldnt' have known something was wrong without the bird there.
