I am so ready for 311's new album,"Don't Tread On Me", after hearing the brand new single "Don't Tread On Me" which was released on KROQ in Los Angeles. 311 visited the studio and premiered the song as many fans got to meet them and get autographs etc. A fan from LA recorded it off the radio and sent it to another fan who hosted it for download. The quality is scratchy and has a lot of static, but it's expected, it's the very first leak of it from radio........and ACTUALLY, just at this moment I went to the 311 forum and found a cleaner, better quality version. There has yet to be a normal quality one released yet, but it'll come soon enough. I am sooooooooo excited for this new album!!!!!
Oh and FUCK all the Metallica fans that are going to bitch and be like "oh that's lame...Metallica has a song called Don't Tread On Me...*whine whine whine*", Lars and company doesn't own every phrase out there, hahaha, and 311's version OWNS Metallica's, yeah that's right, I don't give a shit, muahahahha. But yeah, actually at first I thought the whole "Don't Tread On Me" thing was kind of funny for 311, since they usually just stick to themselves and don't really take a stand, but it makes sense now. They are a band who has always done what they want and has always stuck to their own style no matter what the critics say. They get bashed all the time and they are usually either LOVED or HATED by fans, but it's ok......311 fans seem to be more dedicated than other fans.
Anyway...the new album will rock, it will have really great melodies, and of course the beauty that is 311. Buy it August 16th!!!!!!!
