We talked to Hunteroo last night. She piled into Joe's lap and looked very happy there. We talked about what a good secret is and what a bad secret is - she got those pretty easily. It was harder explaining the concept of love to her. In her mind, I love Joe like she loves her cat. She's young, but it's a start; we'll work with her on it. Next on the hit list are Katie and my mom...maybe not in that order.
Joe opened up a bit more to me last night. Not much, but like with Hunter, it's a start. I guess baby steps there are good as well. There are times, and they are getting farther apart and quieter, when I wonder if I'm the right person for him. I love him with everything I have but I just wonder some days.
I've promised Joe I'd take a ride with him on his bike so I should suck it up and go do it. He's gonna owe me one for this. *laughs*
