Great day
In lieu of going to Palmyra, PA for the BPAL will call, Brian and I went to NYC to spend the day.
Coolest part of the day - in Trash & Vaudeville we had a celebrity sighting! We saw Lisa Bonet and her husband Jason Momoa. This was pretty cool because as I'm sure a lot of you that are my age recall, Lisa Bonet played Denise Huxtable on the Cosby show and that show was pretty much the crap when I was growing up. Though I had no idea until way later who the heck the guy was she was with, Lisa Bonet was instantly recognizable to me. It's pretty fun seeing celebrities. Only the 2nd time that's ever happened to me.
Also we spent a gift card we got from rent.com (for renting our apartment from that website) at Les Halles downtown. Brian's been wanting to go there for a while, as Anthony Bourdain of the TV series No Reservations made that restaurant famous and that's one of Brian's favorite shows. I'm always up for a good meal, especially a free one. I had an amazing pork tenderloin and Brian had steak frites. Finished it off with creme brulee and coffee - all for FREE. YAHOO!
Now we are watching stargate (in reference to seeing Jason Momoa I was all inspired to watch stargate cause I've never seen the movie) in our pajamas and lounging.
