PEEEEEEEOPLEEEEE

Let me tell you all, it is a good thing that I really do like this school, otherwise you would get rants upon rants upon rants from me :p

So today I went to the only two classes that I hadn't gone to, my elective and ROP course. (Not counting, of course, whatever college class I may or may not eventually start taking.) OH GOD, GUYS, THIS SCHEDULE IS CONFUSING. So it's a four core rotation, which means only four classes a day. The last class of the day is either PE or Spanish except for Fridays, unless stated otherwise. So, my class for example, goes to English, then Math, then Chemistry, and then History. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have electives in the third class, so only two core classes on those days. Um..I got Contemporary Japanese Culture as my elective (WOOHOO, I GET TO BE NERDY! We're going to be watching Nana the second half of the semester, and from the little of it I've seen it's actually pretty hardcore for school xD SEX, ROCKSTARS, I DUNNO, MAYBE DRUGS, WOOHOO!) and as an ROP course I have Digital Photography. It seems like it's a pretty fun class, and that's good because it's from 3:15 to 6 and THAT'S THREE EXTRA HOURS WHERE I WILLINGLY STAY AT SCHOOL. Oh well. I'm finally getting my visual and performing arts credits, so that's good.

MY ICON REPRESENTS THE FACT THAT I GOT JAPANESE CULTURE AS AN ELECTIVE AND ALSO THAT I NEED TO FINISH WATCHING KAMEN RIDER, GAAAAAH BUT I DON'T WANT IT TO END! Speaking of not wanting to end, I ONLY HAVE TWO MORE EPISODE OF DOCTOR WHO TO GO! GAH!

I actually like Amy...I dunno, I was kinda under the impression that I wasn't going to like her much, but I do. She seems pretty clever, and I think she has a good understanding of the Doctor re:loneliness, even if she is pretty ignorant of the more benevolant side he has. Also, in regards to their relationship, I think that the Doctor still sees her as the little kid he met at first, so to him they have sort of a father/daughter relationship. Amy, on the other hand, grew up with him being her fantasy hero, her knight in shining armor, and, well, as we fangirls (and Amy would totally be a fangirl) are prone to do, she got a crush on him.

AND OH MY GOODNESS, THE VINCENT VAN GOGH EPISODE! My mother LOVED LOVED LOVED it, I think it's her favorite. Me, I liked it, but I didn't get as teary eyed as I expected...it was beautiful, and I would definitely watch it again, but I think the response that I saw when it first aired kind of made me have expectation a little too high...Also the difference in the prounounciation of 'Gogh' kinda took me out of the story a little. DAMMIT, AMERICA, WHY CAN'T YOU TEACH US THE PROPER WAY TO SAY NAMES THAT WAY I CAN ENJOY MY BRITISH TELEVISION SHOWS MORE?!

And as a final note, we actually have sustained silent reading in English class, and I took Looking for Alaska by John Green. When my teacher was coming around asking what book we had and what page she were on, she did that sort of fangirl gasp and happy face and went all "Oh, John Green. You know he has another book out now?"  So, she already gets awesome points in my mind for being an anime nerd (she's also my elective teacher, BTW), but now I suspect her of being 1) a Doctor Who fan and 2) a nerdfighter. IF YES TO EITHER ONE OF THOSE, SHE JUST MAY END UP BEING MY FAVORITE TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD.

fangirling, school talk, i'm pathetic aren't i, spazzy, best wishes and dftba, i'mma end up in the nuthouse, i claim philip as my own, i'm a nerd, i want a tardis, fandom rules my life
