'Ello People
Soooo I watched The Book of Eli yesterday. I APPROVE.
I didn't really think I would like it, but then again I didn't really know what it was about. Here's a hint: MAJOR religious theme. Yeah.
Anyways, the big thing I wanted to say was: Mila Kunis. She was AWESOME in this movie. I've only ever seen her in That 70's Show, so I was really happy that I was able to see her be a badass. Now when I see her I won't have to picture a whiny spoiled brat. And then the point I wanted to go with is that I've also only ever seen Laura Prepon in one other movie. Both from That 70's Show, both went in completely different directions (at least in my mind). I'm still not sure if I regret watching Karla, but I would definitely never watch it again.
Back to The Book of Eli. My aunt said that the ending seemed anti-climatic, but I liked it. This is my theory: Eli was born blind, and when the world changed God gave him sight, along with that Holy Protection. Which is why he could read braille. Not that big or complicated, but that's what I think. Oh, and my uncle was saying thay if they were to make a sequel it would be good for Angelina Jolie. Yeaaaaaaaah, no. She annoys me. I think it's the lips. Anyways, I think Mila Kunis did a great job, and there need to be more women playing badasses. That is all.
Anyways, tomorrow I'm going to the midnight showing of Eclipse (please oh please oh please focus on Jasper, I DON'T WANT TOO MUCH BELLA/EDWARD DAMMIT. COME ON, GIVE JASPER A BIG PART SINCE YOU COMPLETELY DISSED HIS POWERS IN THE FIRST MOVIE, THEN ADDED ONE, ONE LINE CONCERNING IT IN THE SECOND, SO ANYONE WHO DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW HE HAD A POWER/WHAT HIS POWER WAS WOULD BE COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY LOST *RAGE*). I'm not a twihard, but a few people in my family are, and I just like going to special events (even though it's not that special) so I'm going. Yay. And then on Wendesday I'm going to the midnight showing of The Last Airbender (seriously, please be good pleaaaaaase). OH MY GOD I FEEL LIKE SUCH A SPOILED BRAT. Because then I'm going to Anime Expo on Thursday-Sunday. I'm not sure I'll be on much this weekend, as I'll be over there most of the time, probably.
