Now on to business. Something people should know about me: I'm anti-smoking. It's not that I care if you're smoking, I just care if you're smoking around me, children, or people with any problems that would make it hard for them to breathe. That said, half of my family smokes. Today me, my great-aunt and my godmother/aunt were in the mall looking for Father's Day presents (not for my dad. I've got daddy-issues, but that's for another day) and there was a stand for those fancy shmancy electronic cigarettes. I steered our little group over and we started talking to one of the guys that was working the booth. My aunt tried it, and she was pretty amazed that it was just like a real cigarrete and everything. We would have bought some if we had had the money, but if and when I do get that summer job, I will totally chip in to buy some of those. I felt very proud of myself, opening up a safer option for my family.
The problem? They're pretty much a straight shot of nicotine, without all those other harmful chemicals, and my aunt took too much too fast. My uncle works as a security guard and he says that he talks to people with them, which is how I know about the fact that they have no regulators. So my aunt threw up, and now she's having stomach problems. We hope that she'll get better and we won't have to take her to the doctor's, but yeah. I'm hoping that she knows that she just needs to ease up, and that she'll give it another try. I would love to not have to smell like smoke, not have to breathe it, not have to worry. So, yeah, that happened.

EDIT: OH OH OH, AND I ALMOST FORGOT. My aunt bought me Good Omens :3 Now I have a physical copy I can read tomorrow when we go to the park and barbecue *feels slightly guilty for the whole cigarette business*
