DAY 74
in the countown to the back 9
I've decided to try to do something about this withdrawal, so I'm turning my LJ into a countdown for the next 74 days. Every day, I will mention something about what I love about Glee and why it gets me so amped about the back 9-- in no specific order, of course.
Today, Puck's baby-daddy mood swings. One thing I love about Puck is that I don't know if he has any more idea of who he is than we do. He's a manwhore, we know that, and then, at the same time, he's all, "Oh, Quinny, let me be your maaan." Which confuses me, because on some occasions he tells her he's not going to stop being who he is in order to be a good father, then he tells her on other occasions that he wants to be with her. I think he's a good guy at heart, definitely, I just don't know if he knows how to give up his social rule for it.
I also find myself confused about his attitude toward the Glee kids. When you have them all singing "Must Be the Money", he's totally participating and palling around with them, as are Mike, Matt, Brittany and Santana. It's as though, while he's with the Glee kids, he's like their best friend and then, as soon as practice is over, he's right back to jock supreme. I mean, even Finn could use the bag of rocks in place of his brain to realize he's capable of treating them better and still be both in football and Glee. Granted, he is victim to slushies now, at least he's not a total insensitive idiot? Whereas Puck seems to be trying to cover up what everyone clearly already knows he does-- and it's working.
I'm excited for more of Puck figuring out who the hell he is and confusing the fcuk out of us while he tries to figure it out. <3
