The girls are on vacation. Ya is spending the night at a friend's and tomorrow they'll take the bus to the beach and spend the day. H traveled with Aunt B to the cousins' and will stay there with Ii and R for a few days. They are near the sea and their apartment complex has a large pool. She's excited.
The boys have school, and A complains on a regular basis. But he senses that I won't be moved by his arguments and gives in fairly readily.
Actually, at this time of the year there are a lot of stinging jelly fish. There isn't so much of a problem with them later in the summer when the boys will be on vacation. R equates this with the three weeks of mourning over the destroyed temple and the exile from the land of Israel. When the mourning period ends, and it is permissible to be joyful, the jellyfish disappear.
So I had an easy day, only serving and policing half of the regular population.
Ar came here and will stay with Aunt B. So the boys will enjoy his company after school hours.
