Poor Y is sick. He went to sleep a couple hours earlier than usual. Ya feels better today after being miserable most of the week with a sore throat and headaches.
I'm not used to doing all the running around I've been doing the past two weeks, and took most of today just to do things at home. I cleared more dead wood out of the water-logged place toward the end of the garden. I'm trying to take some time to read about using my camera whenever I get a chance. It's pretty amazing.
Unfortunately, as we get newer gadgets in the house we'll be forced to get a new computer. From what I've read an upgrade from Win98 to XP would not be a good idea. I've tried to talk to En about it, but get the impression that is not the way to go. Sn is more cautious, checks things out, and when he doesn't know something he says so. The problem is catching him at time he can concentrate on what you want to discuss.
Ha! Yesterday we had thieves, but they were thwarted, yea! The neighbor in the cistern apartment heard the bikes and figured the kids were playing on them. Then he thought something was strange (I imagine the kids generally do a lot more yelling than thieves do.) and looked. Some guys were heading off with the new bikes we bought. He called to the kids' uncle (on the other side of the valley)and the two of them chased the guys down and got the bikes back. They had taken some building supplies from the uncle's place as well. Yea neighbor Al! So I locked the bikes in the shed and put the iron gates back on the entrance way so we could lock them. The kids weren't willing to sleep without the door locked after hearing about the thieves. They all had nightmares, regardless.
