Writer's Block Question:
What is your favorite place to curl up and read a new book? What are you reading now that you can't wait to get back to once your day is done?
I like to read reclining in bed, on the loveseat in the living room, or on the sofa outside. I just finished reading "My Mother's Keeper" about Bette Davis by her daughter, which kept my attention pretty well, as I've known similar people. Before that I started a weird book I can't remember the name of, and left it alone after a while. It taught me some history I didn't know, but it was just so unclear what the plot was, I didn't have patience for any more. Before that I read "The Help," which I bought myself as a Passover present, but had finished by the eve of Passover. That really kept my going back to it at every opportunity.
I'm preoccupied with the new job I started, kind of changing my schedule, and haven't started reading anything new. Now that I don't work at the supermarket, who will give my their used books to read? Martha, I miss you!
