join the HSN Feedback Frenzy!
JOIN THE HOT SUMMER NIGHTS FEEDBACK FRENZY!
Here’s how it works: we want you to read the stories written for the Hot Summer Nights smut exchange. After all, gleefics is VERY proud of its participating writers, and we feel that this summer’s crop of fic is deliciously hot. We’re making the whole thing into a little bit of a game, designed to get more comments for our writers!
To participate in Feedback Frenzy, you must leave comments on at least two of the fics posted each day for the full two weeks of our posting period, which is scheduled to run Wednesday, August 4 - Wednesday, August 18th. We’ll be posting on weekdays only. That obliges you to read and review at least 20 of the 49 stories tentatively scheduled to be posted for this round of the exchange. You can certainly comment on more… and we encourage that! Read the “prizes” section for more on that topic.
RULES:
-1- To reply, you must post a list with the days and links to your comments on THIS POST. We won’t go hunting down your comments, and we won’t take your word for it! You can order your list like this:

…and so on. Feel free to present it however you like, just as long as the days and your comments are clearly displayed.
-2- Flaming is unequivocally (although not unequivocally … lol) banned from this contest. If it looks like a flame, you’ll be disqualified. Use your good judgment, guys.
-3- It should be noted that con-crit is not flaming, but - and you’ll have to excuse my lack of tact here - not everyone understands the difference. If you leave con-crit, we ask that you balance it with at least one thing you enjoyed about the story. If you can’t say anything nice about a story, then move on.
-4- Comments need to be substantial (at least 5 sentences) to qualify. Writers NEVER get tired of just seeing “I loved it!”, but for this contest’s purposes, we need you to be a little more explicit. Tell the writer WHAT you loved about the story!
-5- Exchange writers can and are encouraged to participate. You probably shouldn’t comment on your own story, however. ;)
PRIZES:
Everyone who turns in a valid Feedback Frenzy entry by the end of the day on AUGUST 22 (the Sunday after posting is finished) will be entered in a drawing to win one of two prizes of paid account time (2 months). Winners will be announced when the exchange author reveal goes live.
BONUS: Anyone who comments on at least 30 fics as per the rules will receive a bonus entry into the contest. The extra 10+ stories are entrant’s choice.
