But what? What is the song about? I've read the story like three and a half times and I still can't figure it out!

It had been a rhetorical question, but Artie looked into his lap sadly and said, "Yeah."

She smiled shyly and pulled off her own patterned sweater... The only person who could truly understand was Artie.
So true.

Because they both knew what it was like to lose yourself and gain something completely unexpected in return.
I love this ending.

Oh my goodness. Artie is pimptastic in this. My favourite line hands down would be the Tina and I aren't exclusive bit. Seriously. Artie had to be a major player to arrange that! *is so proud of him*

I loved the fact that you kept having Rachel ask if he could feel it, and he kept saying no, but he wanted her to keep going anyway. *Sigh*

Artie is AWESOME!

I like that Rachel learned that other people have things to offer her and that they might know some things that she doesn't. I think it's something she's going to have to learn at some point in her life (and I think it helps build a connection between Artie and Rachel in this fic that, unfortunately, isn't there in canon). I also like that she thinks about the other males in her life and wonders if they'll be like it is with Artie or if they'll be found lacking.

The ending is lovely ♥
